One to Watch

We at Style Bitches have got to give a shoutout to this new designer we discovered today. Meet Jamie Mihlrad. She's a talented designer currently located in Milan and we just love her latest collection. We love the colors, the 30s influence and the overall prettiness of it. It's exactly the kind of clothes that will make a girl feel pretty and feminine without too much sappy overkill. Keep an eye out for this one girls, we have a feeling she'll be coming soon to a store near you.

Polly Pocket

Ok, show of hands, how many of you lovely ladies hate carrying a purse when you go out for a night on the town? Yeah, that's what we thought. We don't like it either. I mean yeah, purses can be a fabulous accessory but honestly what are you supposed to do with it at the fancy dinner? Or when your shakin it like a salt shaker on the dance floor? That's why we at StyleBitches are loving the new pockets on everything trend. And how awesome that you finally have a place to put your hands when you're just chilling not to mention looking uber cute while doing it.

Mesh

Why would you buy an outfit you can see right through? This look works on nobody. Ok, it works on Halle Berry, so unless you're Halle, remember, clothes are supposed to be a form of self expression and do you really want to express the fact that you want everyone to see your business? Let's think about who else would want to express that fact? That's right. Strippers.

This last one is particulary egregious....

Domo Arigato

StyleBitches are going to go out on a limb here and predict the next big trend is going to be the kimono look. Blame it on the mass marketing campaign for Memoirs of a Geisha if you want but we love the look for streetwear. It's cute, it's fun and hello could there be a more forgiving look? Check out these looks, soon to appear on a budding Style Bitch near you.

Are you ready for this jelly?

Normally the top of the muffin is our favorite part of the muffin. We have to admit we've often been guilty of buying a muffin, eating only the top and discarding the rest. Lately though we've been hearing the phrase more often in reference to an unbecoming side effect of the low rise jean trend. We love low rise jeans too. They're infinitely more comfortable than the high rise jeans that cut into your belly button and practically hit the bottom of your bra when you sit down. HOWEVER, we beg of you, please find a pair that fit. Nothing, and we mean nothing, looks worse than a girl who squeezes herself into a pair of jeans that just don't fit. Love handles = not hot. Please, don't be a victim of the muffin top effect. Let's try to stop this new lingo and restore it to its proper meaning of the tastiest part of a delicious breakfast treat. Mmmmmmm.

Need an oil change?

Ummmm, we're not sure why but the jumpsuit seems to be coming back. I mean we get it, it's like an all in one thing, no need to figure out if the top goes with the bottom. So easy! So efficient! But really? Do you want to take your fashion inspiration from Biff at Big O Tires who services your car? We get why HE needs the coverall but for us laypeople? No. Absolute no. Plus, think of what a pain in the ass it will be to go to the bathroom in this thing.
